Who is John Wick ?

Screenwriter Derek Kolstad created the character of  John Wick and first brought it to the screen in 2014.

John was a mob hit man who quit his job when he fell in love. But not every story has a happy ending.

This is the story of a retired contract killer coming out of retirement to seek vengeance.

 

The film begins as John begins the next chapter of his life…….

After the sudden death of his beloved wife, John Wick receives one last gift from her, a beagle puppy named Daisy, and a note imploring him not to forget how to love.

His grief is interrupted when his 1969 Boss Mustang catches the eye of sadistic thug Iosef Tarasov who breaks into his house and steals it, beating John unconscious and leaving Daisy dead.

They thugs have just reawakened one of the most brutal assassins the underworld has ever seen. And he is out to get whoever killed his dog.

John Wick: Chapter 2

In February 2017 join the continuing adventures of former hitman, John Wick.

Again written by Derek Kolstad,  and directed by Chad Stahelski, this is a sequel to the 2014. This time John is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild.

Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s “John Wick: Chapter 2” arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.
